Fablab – Children’s Holiday Session – Vinyl Cut/T-Shirt Press
Step into the digital fabrication laboratory and become a fashion designer for the day! Delivered by the specialist ICT in Schools team, this premium 2-hour FabLab session gives children a real hands-on look at modern maker technology.
Young creators will use design software to sketch out their own custom graphics or text. From there, they will learn how to operate a digital vinyl cutting machine to precisely carve out their artwork, weed the design, and use a professional heat press to permanently transfer it onto a wearable T-shirt.
It’s a fantastic, high-quality introduction to graphic design and digital manufacturing where everyone walks away with a custom product they built from scratch!
T -shirt included. If you wish to bring your own t-shirt they must be 100% Cotton

- Date: Tuesday 11th August
- Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (2-hour workshop)
- Location: ICT in Schools, The Word
- Price: £20 per child (plus booking fee) — all design materials and T-shirt included.
- Age Suitability: Suitable for ages 8–12 years old
- Availability: Strictly limited to a maximum of 6 students for a highly focused, mentored experience. Fast booking is essential.
- Important Supervision Note: Children aged 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the session.
