We are absolutely bursting with pride to celebrate the incredible achievements of the Harton Primary Puzzlers, our regional FIRST LEGO League champions! This remarkable team recently represented our region at the national finals in Harrogate over the weekend, and they truly shone brightly throughout the entire competition.
The Harton Primary Puzzlers demonstrated exceptional qualities that impressed everyone they encountered. They were specifically commended for their brilliant communication skills, ensuring their ideas were shared effectively and their teamwork was seamless. Furthermore, their phenomenal innovation project clearly stood out, capturing the attention and praise of both the judges and fellow competing teams. It’s wonderful to hear that other teams recognized their hard work and ingenuity!
Their dedication and perseverance were also evident in the robot games. The team showed fantastic progress, improving their score in each round. They started strong with 190 points in their first game, built on that success with 210 in the second, and then achieved an absolutely brilliant 215 points in their final game! What a testament to their strategy, coding skills, and teamwork.
But the accolades didn’t stop there! We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to announce that the Harton Primary Puzzlers have made history as the first team in South Tyneside to win one of the core awards, taking first place for their outstanding innovation project! This is a monumental achievement and a true reflection of their creativity and hard work.
We also want to extend a huge thank you to Sage for their generous support in supplying the equipment that undoubtedly helped the team achieve their goals. Your contribution has made a real difference!
Adding a touch of their own unique flair, the team cleverly used the #whitebricks to create a fantastic Lego rendition of our iconic Tyne Bridge.
They also showcased their creativity by designing their team logo using Lego on the graffiti wall – a brilliant way to make their mark!
Fantastic work to the Harton Primary Puzzlers – a truly well-deserving team! Your dedication, innovation, and teamwork have made us all incredibly proud. Well done on this phenomenal achievement!
