UK risks becoming an ‘incubator economy’ if we don’t take action to support our tech companies to scale up – Committees 

A recent report by the House of Lords Communications and Digital Committee warns that the UK risks becoming an ‘incubator economy’ unless more is done to support tech startups in scaling up to become global competitors. The report emphasizes the need for better funding opportunities, mentorship, and infrastructure to help innovative companies grow within the UK. 

School leaders can play a role by fostering entrepreneurial skills and awareness of the tech industry among students, preparing them to contribute to the nation’s digital future.
