I had a lovely morning yesterday delivering an e-safety workshop to the Epinay School Key stage 5 students based at Bede’s World.
It was great to meet the students and we had lots of fun talking through how to use social media in a responsible way.
All of the students wanted to know how to get the best out of the fantastic technology available for communication and entertainment with the minimum of risk.
A smashing group of young people with a great attitude.
Many thanks for making me so welcome I look forward to working with you all again soon.

We have formed a New Curriculum Development Group. The idea of the group is to help our schools and support each other in the development of new ideas for delivering the curriculum and share good practice.
The target audience are Subject leaders in computing in South Tyneside schools.
The first meeting will be held at OpenZone on 13th February 2014 at 4pm
